POLICE OFFICER SHOT 3 TIMES

25 year old police officer Christopher Dorman from Folcroft, Delaware County is in critical after he had been ambushed and struck by gunfire multiple times this morning.

After a massive manhunt in search of the gunman, police now have four people in custody.

Service on SEPTA’s Wilmington/Newark Line is suspended until further notice due to the police activity between Folcroft and Glenolden stations.

VIEWING AND FUNERAL FOR PHILLY TEEN KILLED IN ORLANDO

The viewing and funeral was held this morning for 18 year old Akyra Murray, the young lady whose life ended way too soon in a hate massacre

Akyra was remembered by family and friends at the Monumental Baptist Church at 50th and Locust Streets in West Philadelphia.

 

NEW JERSEY TO RAISE MINIMUM WAGE

The New Jersey Senate voted to raise the state’s minimum wage to $15 over the next five years.

The measure would raise the wage by $1.25 a year for the next four years.

 

WEST OAK LANE PIMP GETS 48-96 YEARS

37 year old Jason Guerra from West Oak Lane was sentenced today to 48 to 96 years in prison for recruiting girls as young as 12 from the streets of Kensington and Frankford to work as prostitutes.

Guerra was found guilty of human trafficking, rape, assault, and promoting prostitution of a minor.
