Feeling fatigued?  Can’t get bear to stay awake for another meeting? Your energy may be improved with these easy lifestyle changes:

1) Regular Exercise: You don’t have to run a mile every morning, but exercising in regular intervals several times a week will thwart that fatigue.

2) Eat a Balanced Diet: Having coffee for breakfast, or no breakfast? Then you may harming your energy in multiple ways.  You may get a boost now but in the long run you’ll be back to falling asleep.  Instead, replace that cup of Joe with breakfast – as not skipping meals is crucial when it comes to gaining energy. 3) Manage your Stress: Being less stressed can be vital to conserving energy.  When you’re stressed your body initiates its fight-or-flight response. This makes your body think it’s in danger, and to help you it will give you a burst of energy you don’t want.  Start managing your time, asking for help, and thinking about your problems in new ways to reduce your stress.

4) Improve your Sleep: Getting enough sleep and still not having any energy?  It may be your pillow.  Studies have shown that the quality of your sleep can be significantly improved by getting a medium-firm pillow, and if you’re in the market for a new mattress that wouldn’t hurt either. 5) Fight Depression: Nothing can sap your energy like being depressed, seek out a doctor if you’ve been depressed for several weeks.
