TV One Presents ‘Unsung: Uncut’
TV One gathers vintage performances from the artists featured in its “Unsung” series for an all-music special “Unsung: Uncut,” premiering Monday, April 5 from 9-10 p.m.
Featured full-length performances will include Teena Marie w/ Rick James (“Sucka For Your Love”), Bootsy Collins (“Aint It Funky Now”), Klymaxx (“Meeting In the Ladies Room”), Rose Royce (“Car Wash”), Debarge (“I Like It”), Minnie Riperton (“Lovin You”), and Sylvester (“Dance Disco Heat”).
An encore airing is scheduled for midnight Monday as well as on Tuesday, April 6 at noon, Wednesday, April 7 at 3 a.m., Thursday, April 8 at 5 p.m., Friday, April 9 at 5 a.m., Saturday, April 10 at noon and April 11 at 8 and 11 p.m. (all times ET).
As previously reported, two all-new “Unsung” episodes are slated to premiere on Monday, April 12 (“Stacy Lattisaw”) and Monday, April 19 (“Bar-Kays”) from 9-10 p.m. ET, repeating at midnight, with a primetime re-airing scheduled for the following Sunday at 8 p.m. ET.
