Upon Wendy Williams’ return to her daytime talk show, Williams announced that a new drug and substance abuse hotline would be established on behalf of her Hunter Foundation and T.R.U.S.T. On last Wednesday’s show (March 6th) Wendy opened up about her 10-year struggle with crack and cocaine, “I realize that I am a walking addict. You can’t just clean up and stop it and think it’s not going to affect you,” Wendy said. The 24-hour hotline will have certified recovery coaches available who will help callers get the proper care that they need with facilities that will take Medicaid, private insurance or will be self-pay treatment centers. Families can also seek help from Wendy’s hotline, they will be able to get support, education and awareness information.
