Yup, the 1996 academy award winning documentary When We Were Kings which focused on the Rumble in the Jungle heavyweight championship was is being adapted into a staged play. Shelley Marcus has adapted the book for the musical, and the score will feature songs from James Brown, B.B. King, and The Fugees, Rumble in the Jungle track that features A Tribe Called Quest and Busta Rhymes, but unfortunately the production may not be ready until 2020. Awwe.
