Stevie Wonder praised Donald Glover’s artistic genius during his show at the Peppermint Club in LA last Wednesday night. “I saw your video!” Stevie said jokingly.
“I got some songs on the next project, I think it would be great for us to collaborate, and do some visuals,” Wonder told Glover. “In a time when the world seems so asleep, it’s great to know when people are woke.”
The concert kicked off what Wonder described as series of shows that are intended to promote love.
“So much is going on in the world. And there is too much confusion–the one thing we know for sure that we can celebrate is our life, our love and our music–the positive will win in the end.”
No specifics yet about the series set to take place in the upcoming months but Wonder did mention his new album ‘Through The Eyes Of Wonder’ will be completed before 2018 is out.
