On October 4th The Philadelphia Music Alliance will be making inductions to the Walk Of Fame including Jill Scott and Patti LaBelle. The alliance board member says the honorees show why Philadelphia remains a hub for award-winning talent.
The class of 2017 features a Philadelphia musician guru’s from guitar virtuoso Sister Rosetta Tharpe to 1970s R&B group Sister Sledge, and Sound of Philadelphia acts McFadden & Whitehead and the Soul Survivors.
Following the induction ceremony will be a gala at the Fillmore.
