Former first lady Michelle Obama received the biggest applause at the ESPY Awards last night as she slayed a cutout dress by Cushnie et Och.

After receiving a standing ovation upon being introduced, we knew that Obama gave a heartfelt speech presenting the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage to Special Olympics founder Eunice Kennedy Shriver.

“She knew that when we give others a chance to fulfill their greatest potential, we all win,” Obama

With Eunice Kennedy Shiver creating the Special Olympics in the 1960’s that turned the event into a global sensation, Obama describes Shriver as a champion if people with intellectual disabilities.

“Through her passionate service she made the world more welcoming,”

Shriver son, Tim,  accepted the award on her behalf.

“Once a great first lady, still a great first lady.”- Obama
