Spotify is currently seeking to fill the President of Playlist position and founder Daniel EK thinks President Obama would be a great fit, as he his leaving his oval office. Daniel EK tweeted out:
“Hey @BarackObama, I heard you were interested in a role at Spotify. Have you seen this one? https://www.spotify.com/us/jobs/view/o0CA4fw0/ …“
The Job consist of overseeing music curation and playlist team, across offices around the world. The requirements include someone who has “at least eight years experience running a highly- regarded nation.”
The Company is also seeking a candidate who can speak passionately about music and they want nothing short than one of the greatest speakers of all time. Sounds like Obama fits that description, especially if you know what he bumps on his spotify playlist.
Obama summer playlist consist of Janelle Mone’ and Nina Simone and his workout playlist consist of none other than Beyonce’. I guess its safe to say Obama is apart of the Bee Hive, when he’s working out.
Although, Obama joked as stated he would gladly take the job, out of great fun. We know that isn’t going to happened, but how cool would it be for our former President to take charge of one the best stream music services?
