Five people, including a 16-year-old boy, have been charged after what New Jersey State Police called a “rolling shootout” on the Atlantic City Expressway yesterday that ended with one person dead and four others wounded.

The incident unfolded when shots were fired among moving vehicles on the eastbound expressway near the Garden State Parkway at about 3 p.m. yesterday.

Troopers found a slain man in the passenger seat of a car. Police also located four wounded men in a bullet-riddled Ford Expedition in the parking lot of a nearby Wawa in Egg Harbor Township.
