So, it looks like Philly has yet another big project coming soon.  Philadelphia is getting a brand new high rise. Officials and the developer broke ground on the Bridge apartment building today in Old City.

Sources say, the 17-story building is going up on the 200 block of Race Street. It will have 146 rental units, 14,000 square feet of ground floor retail space, and lower level car and bicycle parking.

In addition, the building will be one of the first to include a 10 percent mixed income affordable housing component under the city’s new zoning code. The pet-friendly building will be ready for occupancy by early 2017. Sounds good to me!
