Protest Ride Of Prague Taxi Drivers

There may be a war brewing across the great pound involving  transportation drivers. Paris officials announced a ban on UberPop [Europe’s identical rendition of our UberX] after almost 3,000 taxi drivers staged a strike across France in protest of the ride-hailing app.

Some taxi drivers vandalized several Uber cars, even flipping some over, and rioting until the police had to step in.

The demonstration was organized to protest against UberPop, the app that links up customers with non-professional drivers. These drivers use their private vehicles to pick up clients. Uber’s services, are generally 30 to 50 percent cheaper than cab fares and drivers pay far less taxes.

I guess the Taxi driver coalition were tired of the Uber drivers taking money out of their pockets. Lets just hope none of their actions corrupts our drivers, we don’t need no more drama in this country!
