I have always asked the question of why are there so many people starving in the world when we have soooo much food that we throw away everyday!
Leave it to the other side of the pond to lead by example for a better innovative way to stop world hunger. In an effort to shorten the food waste, which accounts for one-third of all food produced worldwide.
France is making it illegal for supermarkets to throw away any food that is considered edible. The European country voted unanimously for the new law, which will force grocers to either donate the food to charity or make sure that it is used as animal feed.
