It’s the Queen L-A-T-I-F-A-H in command! Ms. Dana Owens has become the queen of TV and film and it’s a wonderful sight to see. She is the most successful female rapper-turned-actress with many films, a few TV shows and at least one Oscar nomination under her belt. Her next project will put her back in the time frame of the film that earned her an Oscar nod when she plays Bessie Smith in an upcoming HBO movie. Queen Latifah is no stranger to Jazz or to playing a character this colorful and complex.
