This past weekend 100.3 WRNB‘s own “Digital Diva” Arielle Donce’ had the pleasure of covering the 2013 BET Honors Awards Red Carpet at the Warner Theater in Washington DC. This annual event has become a necessary staple in the black community, celebrating African-American achievement. This years ceremony spotlighted honoree’s Clarence Avant (Entrepreneur Award), Halle Berry(Service Award), T.D. Jakes ( Education Award), Chaka Khan( Musical Arts Award) and Lisa Leslie (Athletics Award). This star-studded inspirational ceremony featured the musical sound track of Erykah Badu, Wanyae Brady, Brandy, Cherrelle, Alica Keys, Ledisi, and so much more! The 2013 BET Honors brought together hollywood’s ’hottest’ and most influential celebrities, also in attendance were celebs Sean ‘P.Diddy’ Combs , Anthony Anderson, Cedric ‘The Entertainer,’ Luke James, and Kelly Rowland- the list goes on .
