Six middle school students in Richmond, Virginia may be charged with a serious felony after assaulting their school bus driver. On Tuesday morning, the 55-year-old male bus driver suffered serious face and head injuries after he was assaulted by the six student on their way to school. Apparently, the kids were throwing crayons at the bus driver causing him to become agitated and he started hitting one of the attackers. The students face felony charges of  aggravated assault and assault by mob.

A seventh student was suspended in connection with the incident. A judge has set a trial date of Jan. 2 for the suspects.
