If Diddy wasn’t everywhere at once, he definitely is making that happen with his latest project as a comedic character in the highly anticipated movie “Get Him to the Greek” which is opening this weekend.

“I think this role will definitely be a revelation to people,” the rapper, producer, clothes designer, reality TV star (deep breath) … told the LA Times. “People have this perception of me – which is my fault – of maybe a rapper or Champagne-sipping and Hamptons and white fur and just cliché type of things that are just kind of old and dated and corny, which isn’t how I am today, you know? That was just part of my image for a second. It wasn’t who Sean is. You evolve – like, I need to retire my diamond necklace and fur jacket now. Things change. Times change.”

His new character in “Greek” is sure to shock folks. He plays the role of Sergio Roma, an obver the top record executive who forces an employee (Jonah Hill) to chaperone a wild rock star (Russell Brand). Critics say, despite the comedy of Hill and Brand, Combs is a stand out player.

n other Diddy news, the media mogul is opening up his first Sean John store in Los Angeles today, Friday (June 4) called “Shop Future.” It’s an all green store and is located on Sunset Boulevard.
