While no one from her team has given an exact reason, our sources speculates that it could be because she is preggers!!
Plus with Janet Jackson also in the cast, maybe there’d be just too many divas on the set at once! Between Janet, Mariah and all them other superstars, I’m sure the set will be ‘diva’ overload!! Just like Miss Tyler likes it!!
According to PEOPLE, Carey withdrew from the ensemble cast that includes Kerry Washington, Loretta Devine, Omari Hardwick, Macy Gray, Phylicia Rashad, Kimberly Elise, and more Tuesday, May 25. ”I’m not at liberty to discuss her personal life at this time,” Carey’s spokeswoman Cindi Berger said Wednesday, declining to give a reason for Carey’s withdrawal.
‘For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Isn’t Enuf’ is slated to be shot this summer with an early 2011 opening in theaters.
