Oprah Winfrey is dismissing reports she plans to purchase a $68 million mansion in New Jersey.
Earlier this week, Winfrey was rumored to have taken a tour of a sprawling English manor-style estate in Alpine, New Jersey, which Forbes magazine editors named the priciest area to live in last year.
The talk show host was said to have demanded the house be vacated so she could take in the five-story property in peace, but she insists the reports are false.
“No truth to me looking for a house in Jersey. No idea who started that rumor” Oprah tweeted. “Been in Chicago all week working.”
