Now it seems as though New York might be the next state to legalize same sex marriage. According to the Associated Press, a Republican Senator who was undecided on this subject stated that he would vote for gay marriage in the debate on Friday night. His vote will be the deciding one since the votes are tied with 31 in favor of same sex marriage. If everyone votes the same way again, New York will become the sixth state to put an end to the long debate and legalize homosexual marriage.
