Valentines day is right around the corner. You can’t decide what to do. Here are 10 things that are sure to sweep your Valentine off their feet and have you looking like a King of Kings or a Queen of Queens.

Couples Massage: Packages are available for $150 for about a 55 minute massage. There are plenty of places in Philadelphia offering couples massages. Look around, you may find a diamond in the rough.

Wine Tasting: Most wine tastings in Philadelphia are very low-key, so you have to look for them. But luckily there are a lot and can be very affordable. Not many things classier than a wine and cheese tasting with your lover.

Professional Pictures: Make an appointment to get pictures with your mate taken. It gives you a chance to show your affection through poses without making you lose your masculinity. Or if your not photogenic, they can lighten the mood and have a great topic to laugh about later. Either way, it can be great quality time spent together.

Horoscope Antics: Make sure your mate knows their horoscope for valentine’s day, and do a bunch of things that make their horoscope correct. Obviously not if they have a horrible horoscope though. Common sense people.

Re-enactment: Guys this is a great one for you. Hopefully you remember your first date. Well do it all over. Everything. The place, time, meals, everything! This not only will remind each other how you two became attracted to one another and shows that you pay attention to the little things. Which we all know women love.

Ice Skating: Find somewhere to take her skating on the ice. Not only will you be closer (if she is a bad skater) but you two will more importantly have fun. Bring some randomness to a bland, routine relationship.

Role Play: Get your mind out of the gutter! Spend the day as if it is the first time you two have met. We all know there is an odd infatuation with the “chase.” So have fun with it. Start the day of as strangers and go through the “chase” all over again through the course of the day. Added Bonus: you get to show off your acting skills!

Elongate the Occasion: Who said Valentine’s Day had to be one day. We have 12 days of Christmas, so why not 12 days for your Valentine. Each day do something small. Each day the surprises getting more and more shocking. You will have your significant other drooling over the suspense. Not to mention they will appreciate how much thought had to go into it.

Cook Together: I don’t mean a meal when you both are irritated and starving. A meal that you cook together that you both can enjoy doing. Like baking a cake. Something that doesn’t really matter if you mess up. It’s not about the meal, its about the experience together. Learning together and experiencing things together are what makes memories.

Give In: A lot of times in relationships we try to put our best foot forward and often times we don’t make ourselves vulnerable. Do something that you know you aren’t very good at. If you can’t sing, do karaoke. If you can’t draw, draw a picture for your mate. These things are obviously going to be of low-quality and likely will deserve to be destroyed. But being vulnerable and exposing your weakness to your mate shows trust. And the foundation of every great relationship is trust.

There you have it. 10 things that will surely be surprising for your mate. Don’t be afraid to mix it up. Anyone will tell you that a great relationship never feels old. Its unpredictable and full of passion. If you can’t be these things everyday, be them on Valentine’s Day. And your spouse is sure to appreciate everything you do.
