Content Creator, DJ Akademiks, responds to criticism after signing an exclusive streaming deal with the social media platform Rumble. Rumble is a platform many have associated with Alt-Right creators such as Donald Trump and Andrew Tate.
During a live stream Akademiks explains his reasoning for signing with Rumble while jokingly combating his critics.
Akademiks explains his move to Rumble has nothing to do with his political views. It has more to do with being compensated for the impact he will have in driving traffic to the platform.
He also makes reference to his deal with Rumble being a blueprint for other big name content creators. Showing other known content creators that they will need to leverage the audience they’ve built on these social media platforms to demand better compensation.
