The Philadelphia Eagles got the running back help they desperately needed by acquiring Jordan Howard from the Chicago Bears on Thursday, reports ESPN.

The Eagles are getting a solid running back who has one year left on his rookie contract, and the Bears receive a sixth-round pick in 2020.

Howard is still a young running back at the age of 24. He played three seasons with the Bears, rushed for over 1,000 yards in both 2016 and 2017. He ranks third in the NFL in rushing since entering the league.

This is the second major move the Eagles have made this offseason, a few weeks ago they reacquired WR DeSean Jackson.

With all the hype around the 76ers playoff push and the Phillies opening the season with a win, it seems the Eagles are gearing up for another Super Bowl run in the upcoming season.
