The new Miss USA was crowned last night. Back to back wins for the District of Columbia. Our new Miss USA is Kara Mccullough.

- She is a 25 year old Scientist working for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
- She is graduate of South Carolina State University w/ a Degree in Chemistry.
- She received positive attend for wearing her hair natural during the pageant.
- She funds an outreach science program for kids. Kara LOVES the kids!
- She was military brat born in Italy, her father served in the Marine corps.
- McCullough will go on to represent America in the Miss Universe contest.
