Jill Scott is going to Flint for a upcoming Lifetime film about the government poisoning of Flint, Michigan’s water supply. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film will be based on a true story that will explore three activists fighting to expose the cover-up, and seek justice for those affected by the city’s lead-tainted water lines.
Joining Jill Scott will be Queen Latifah, Betsy Brandt, and Marin Ireland for this film that is based on Josh Saburn’s 2016 Time cover story The Tainted Tap.
Shooting will begin this fall!
