Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid will not play in the next two games because of a left knee contusion he suffered during last Friday night game against Portland, coach Brett Brown told reporters last night after last night’s game against the Clippers

He will not play Wednesday (Jan 24) against the Bucks as part of the Sixers’ regular rest plan for him.

Arrest Made In Chestnut Hill Home Invasion

Police say they arrested a suspect for the home invasion and sexual assault in the unit block of East Chestnut Hill Avenue that was reported yesterday.

The suspect’s name has not been released.

Police tell us the suspect held the gun to the husband’s head and forced his wife to perform sexual acts.

Tax filing season is officially underway in the United States. Monday was  the first day the IRS is processing 2016 returns.

If you don’t have your W-2, employers are required to send them by the end of the month. The filing deadline this year is April 18.

It’s three days later this year because the 15th falls on a Saturday and Monday the 17th is Emancipation Day, which is celebrated in Washington D.C.
