Viola Davis Makes History
It looks like 2017 is turning out to be yet another golden year for Viola Davis. The actress made history this morning after she was nominated for an Oscar for her impeccable performance as Rose Maxson in Fences. The recent honor makes her the first African American actress to earn three Oscar nominations in one lifetime.
The actress previously earned nominations for her work in the 2008 drama Doubt and for her performance in The Help (2011).
Sprint Takes 33 Percent In Tidal Streaming Service

Yesterday, Sprint announced that the company has purchased a 33% stake in the Jay Z owned music streaming service, Tidal. According to Billboard, the deal cost the wireless company around $200 million, while Hov, Kanye West and the other involved artists will stay on as part owners of the venture.
