Madonna may march to the beat of her own drum, but when it comes to disappointing her fans, she bounces back in line with everyone else.

The pop diva who delivered a speech at the Women’s March in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, is apologizing for her profanity-filled oration about the election and White House. In the controversial spiel, Madonna told the crowd she “thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House.”

Madge took to Instagram to defend her passionate speech by posting a photo of herself with the words, “I choose love!” She wrote in the post, “Yesterday’s Rally. was an amazing and beautiful experience. I came and performed Express Yourself and thats exactly what i did. However I want to clarify some very important things. My speech began with ‘ I want to start a revolution of love.’ I then go on to take this opportunity to encourage women and all marginalized people to not fall into despair but rather to come together and use it as a starting point for unity and to create positive change in the world.”
