If you weren’t aware President Obama is the first President to interact via social media. He was the first to go live on Facebook, Speak to us, U.S citizens, via YouTube and the first President to use a filter on Snapchat. isn’t our President the best?!
Well over the past eight years President Obama, Vice President Biden, and First Lady have used social media and technology to engage with people of this nation informing us on the most important issues. Now with the President transition, inquiring minds wonder, how will the social media factor into the next president’s administration?
To give an example of what has taken place, the twitter account @POTUS will be made available to Donald Trump and Obama’s new account will be @POTUS44. transferring obama tweets from the @POTUS account and posting it on @POTUS44 while Donald Trump will start fresh news feed as @POTUS. Now imagine that taking place with Obama’s entire administration preparing for Donald Trump’s administration.
