Teddy Riley to Receive the 2016 Soul Train Legend Award

Multi-platinum and three-time Grammy Award-winning producer Teddy Riley is set to receive the coveted Legend Award at the 2016 Soul Train Awards. Among his major accolades is his production on Michael Jackson’s “Dangerous LP” which sold over 32 million copies worldwide. Riley produced number one hits for countless superstars which have ruled the airways for decades.

Chris Rock Is Returning To Stand Up

After an eight-year absence, Chris Rock has signed a $40 million contract with Netflix for two stand-up specials. The two specials are set to air in 2017 only on Netflix as part of a soon-to-be-announced world tour.
The company reportedly outbidding Amazon, Hulu, and HBO for the rights to the as-yet-unnamed specials.

Amazon Music Unlimited is ready to compete against existing services such as Spotify and Apple Music. It will cost $8 per month, or $80 a year, for members of Amazon’s $99-a-year Prime loyalty program. Non-Prime members will pay $10 a month, the same monthly fee charged by Spotify and Apple Music.
