SHOTS FIRED INTO CROWD

A 13-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital after being shot in the leg last night on the 4300 block of North Darien Street in the Hunting Park section.

Police say a group of people were gathered in the street, when a car pulled up and a man allegedly stepped out of the car and fire seven shots into the crowd.The car fled the scene after the shooting.

 

SUSPECT’S HAND CUT OFF WITH MACHETE

DURING HOME INVASION

28-year-old Troy Imbody says he defended himself with a machete during a home invasion and used it to cut off one suspect’s hand.

Police says the man who lost his hand entered Troy’s apartment with three other men to come and “rough him up”.

Troy hasn’t been charged as police continue to investigate. Since the incident a sign has been posted on his home door saying, “Come with two, leave with one” and “Beware of Troy.”

HILLARY CLINTON VISITS ATLANTIC CITY

Just steps away from the now-closed Trump Plaza Casino and Hotel., Hillary Clinton was in Atlantic City today to deliver a powerful attack on the real estate business issues and to a make the case that a “Trump presidency” would be equally disastrous for the American economy.

“He calls himself the king of debt and he earned that title right here in Atlantic City,” Clinton said in a speech “His bad decisions hurt the whole city.”

HOVERBOARDS ARE BEING RECALLED

More than 500,000 hoverboards are being recalled because of fire hazards that pose the risk of injuries,

The recall involves hoverboards from eight manufacturers that are made with battery packs including 4,300 from Overstock.com and 1,300 from a store in Pennsylvania. Amazon.com is not listed in the recall,

Consumers should stop using the hoverboards immediately and contact the recalling company, officials said.
