37-year old Ralkina Jones, was incarcerated for two days in July for allegedly trying to run over her ex-husband and another man. On the third day, Jones was found unresponsive in her Cleveland Heights jail cell. An autopsy has ruled her death as accidental.

Her death happened within three days of Sandra Bland‘s untimely passing in a Texas jail. Bland was accosted by an officer when she was initially arrested and taken into custody. Her death was ultimately ruled a suicide, which her family and friends have vehemently denied.

Similarly, Jones’ passing was in question. The Cuyahoga County medical examiner’s office has confirmed her cause of death was “sudden cardiac arrest in association with postural tachycardia syndrome and obesity with amphetamine therapy.”

Paramedics saw Jones twice and provided medical attention, they said she looked, “lethargic” but her “vital signs were normal.”

The coroner found that Jones also had issues with obstructive sleep apnea and an implosive combination of narcotics within her system that put her at a higher risk for sudden death. These drugs included, oxycodone, butalbital, alprazolam and zolpidem.
