Many Philadelphians  hit the streets today protesting for the demand of fast food chains and other entry level employers to pay their employees $15 an hour. Philly was one of 200 cities in the U.S. hosting demonstrations today. The current minimum wage pay in Pennsylvania is $7.25 an hour, and fast food workers say they can’t survive off that, and I feel them on that one! President Obama has proposed, and Congress is debating, a $10.10 minimum wage. I sure hope this protest that’s going on throughout the country today really makes a difference!
