Noted curator John Vick, shared highlights from the impressive new exhibition, Represent: 200 Years of African-American Art at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Represent includes a range of diverse works from over 50 prominent artists, including several accomplished Philadelphia talents such as Ellen Powell-Tiberino, Allan Edmunds, Barbara Chase-Riboud and Moe Booker among others. Don’t miss this spectacular exhibition featuring decorative arts made by enslaved and free artists created before the Civil War to contemporary works of art, such as Barkley L. Hendricks’s Miss T. The exhibition also includes a series of educational panels featuring some of the living artists, as well as performances, art workshops and much more.
