If you are struggling financially in Philly, well, there is a good reason for that. We happen to be one of the most expensive cities, we are the 9th most expensive city to be exact. According to 6ABC.com, residents of Philly pay an average of $21,000 a year on rent/mortgage and utilities. Honestly, it could be worse, we could be DC, San Francisco or NYC the country’s #1,2 and 3 most expensive places to live. I’m sure we don’t mind not being number one in this instance!
