Singer and Bad Boy of R&B Bobby Brown can cook his behind off and to prove it, he’s started a whole line of barbecue sauces and marinades entitled – what else- Bobby Brown Foods. Would you even believe that he’s up early in the morning trying out recipes? Yup.
“I’m sitting here making up some barbeque sauce right now that is just – I don’t know if it’s sweet or spicy or original – but it’s my sauce. And it’s a damn good sauce,” he told The Tom Joyner Morning Show.
Brown, once married, of course, to the late Whitney Houston and admittedly addicted to several substances, has made a turnaround as of late. He’s remarried to Alicia Etheredge and they have a son, Cassius. On Father’s Day, he was photographed with his daughter with Houston, Bobbi Kristina.
Brown, who says cooking has long been a big part of his offstage life (and who can be credited in part, for the reality TV music craze) says the sauces are available on the brand’s official website and will be rolling out in stores across the country in the next two weeks. As for what the sauces consist of?
“You know I can’t tell you that. It’s all fresh herbs and spices. All natural. It’s something I’ve been doing for a long time. It’s a bunch of my mom’s recipes, but then I do a little Bobby in it.”
