“The United States Senate passed the Violence Against Women Act reauthorization yesterday. I am happy to report that both of our Senators voted YES on final passage. Senator Casey was a cosponsor and is a long term and early supporter of reauthorization. We lobbied Senator Toomey’s office HARD and I am happy to say, although he had concerns about some of the stronger protections, he did vote YES on final passage. We should definitely call and THANK both of them.”
