According to the Huffington Post, 2 women were arrested early Sunday morning at JFK Airport in New York after their extra-tall hair weaves raised the suspicions of guards. Officers started sniffing around & upon closer inspection, discovered more than 2 pounds of cocaine woven into the 2 women’s hairdos. Officials said Kiana Howell & Makeeba Graham concealed the cocaine in form-fitting plastic bags on their scalps. Howell had 35.1 ounces of drugs hidden under her hair weave, while Graham hid 36.9 ounces beneath hers. Howell told officials she did not know the contents of the package, but that her boyfriend in Guyana “told her to bring that package under her hair weave to the United States for him & she would’ve been paid $7,500! Oh what a tangled web we weave!
