Tiger Woods will follow up his play at Memorial with a charity pro-am in Ireland next month, which will mark his first tournament outside of the United States this year.

Event officials say Woods has agreed to play in the July 5-6 tourney organized by Irish businessman and racehorse owner J.P. McManus, according to the Associated Press.

The 36-hole event will be held at Adare Manor, a former Irish Open venue, the week before the British Open at St. Andrews.

Woods said in a statement released by organizers that because of his own foundation he understands “the importance and necessity of raising funds to help deserving individuals.”
