*TV Guide is reporting that the professional baseball player married to Vanessa Williams’ character on ABC’s “Desperate Housewives” will be played by actor Reggie Austin.
The former “Life Unexpected” cast member will portray the New York baseball star husband of Wisteria Lane’s newest resident Renee Perry (Williams), whose marriage to the athlete is on the rocks.
