Rep. Bobby Rush, D-Ill was kicked off the floor of the House of Representatives this morning for wearing a hoodie to show tribute to Trayvon Martin and bring awareness to the huge problem of discrimination in this country.
After the Chicago politician left the floor of the House, the speaker reminded members of Clause 5 of rule 17 on house decorum: No hats. “The donning of a hood is not consistent with this rule,” he said. Check out the video below…
