U.S. employers added a better-than-expected 151,000 jobs in October, the first monthly increase since May, but the gain was less than the 200,000 needed to start returning the 15 million unemployed Americans to work.

After more than two years of deciding where to locate a major distribution center and exploring other sites, Teva Pharmaceuticals USA will construct a massive $300 million distribution center off Red Lion Road in Northeast Philadelphia.

Private sector jobs were added in 35 major markets between August 2009 and 2010, but the Philadelphia metropolitan area was not among them.
