Philadelphia is gearing up for all the fun on America’s 250th anniversary.

The MLB has announced that the 2026 MLB All-Star game will be held at Citizens Bank Park.

This will be the first time since 1996, that MLB All-Star activities will be held in Philadelphia. The last time the Phillies hosted the All-Star game, Bryce Harper and Rhys Hoskins were both 3 years old.

“It was a really easy sell to baseball to host the game here in Philadelphia,” Phillies managing partner John Middleton said. “It’s the logical place.”

It will be the fifth time the city has hosted an All-Star Game. It most recently hosted at Veterans Stadium in 1996 and 1976, which was the country’s bicentennial anniversary.
