Ron Isley’s stint in prison didn’t hamper his desire to release new music. The legendary lead singer of The Isley Brothers is prepping the release of a new album, “Mr. I,” coming out later this month.
The album features a duet with Lauryn Hill on the classic Burt Bacharach/Hal David penned tune “Close To You” which has been famously covered by everyone from The Carpenters to Tamia.
