*Kobe Bryant is developing a Web series about Filipino kids who get to learn lessons on and off the court from the Lakers star.
“Dream Makers: Kobe Bryant,” set at the Kobe Bryant Basketball Academy, has landed an eight-webisode run in the Philippines and will culminate in a one-hour TV special, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Producer Endemol USA is shopping the package elsewhere around the globe for distribution and sponsorship partners.
The company has been an active player in webisode production, with “Married on MySpace,” “Coupon Mom” and “Vidas Cruzadas” to its credit.
