Adam Levine Is Leaving ‘The Voice’ because he didn’t like some of the changes to the show’s format.

He particularly did not like the “Live Cross Battles.” The Cross Battles put two coaches head-to-head. They pick someone from their team to go up against another team’s artist. Adam felt that this made the show feel like the wild wild west. His team also took a major hit leaving him with four contestants. By the time the show reached the top 8, his whole team had been eliminated.
He took to his Instagram page to say his good-byes. He used the cover of Rolling Stone that had the original Voice crew
Now, before you go feeling sorry for Adam, he has a couple things up his sleeve. He is going on tour of Europe with his group Maroon 5 and he has his own reality TV competition that he is producing on NBC so this won’t be the last of Adam Levine.
