Oprah and her bestie Gayle King helped unveil a new Museum on Liberty Island in NYC, and while she was there she talked about border control.
Via Inside Edition:

Oprah Winfrey was with best friend Gayle King Wednesday evening as they helped unveil a new museum on Liberty Island in New York City.

“It’s pretty emotional to see her this close,” Winfrey said of seeing the Statue of Liberty.

The duo were among some of the first people to see the new museum, which opened to honor the legacy and impact of the Statue of Liberty.

Winfrey recorded video with her cellphone, just like any excited tourist.

She also seemed to take a shot at President Trump’s call for a border wall, saying, “Open borders not closed borders.”

She continued: “They’re the words that I believe will carry us forward always, if we chose, in this critical time, let freedom ring!”

David Letterman was also there, as was Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, whose date was his dad. Candice Bergen, Gloria Estefan, Tony Bennett, and designer and philanthropist Diane von Furstenberg, were all in attendance.
