Mariah Carey will be recognized for her body of work at this year’s Billboard Music Awards.

Carey will receive the Icon Award. She joins past winners like Janet Jackson, Prince, Jennifer Lopez, Stevie Wonder, Celine Dion and Cher.

Carey led the Billboard charts every year in the 1990s. She has had a number one song on the Hot 100 for 79 weeks throughout her career. That’s the most of any artist all-time.

The BMA’s go down on May 1st in Las Vegas.
