R&B singer Monica has filed for divorce from ex-NBA player, Shannon Brown. The couple who were married for nine years has a 5-year-old daughter, Laiyah together. Monica has 2 sons from her previous relationship with rapper, Rocko.
Speculation over the couples split started last October, but it has been recent weeks that Monica has been pictured on Instagram without her wedding ring.
The couple was deeply in love, Monica even claimed that Brown played better after having sex with her, more specifically during his time with the Phoenix Suns.
