Stats: Born January 17, 1964 in Chicago. She attended Princeton University, graduating cum laude in 1985. She then furthered her education at Harvard Law School and received her Law degree in 1988.
Ladies First: First African American First Lady of the United States. First digital First Lady. Lauched the largest and most expansive vegetable garden to date on the White House lawn.
Impact: As first lady, she focused her attention on current social issues. Creating platforms like Let’s Move, Let Girls Learn, Reach Higher and Joining Forces.
